Advent Devotional Resource

For the last few years, I have enjoyed reading the Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary Advent Devotional. It’s rare to find resources such as this that are readable and also substantive. But, to tell you the truth, there is another, even bigger, reason why I love this devotional: it probes into the person and work of Jesus in such thought-provoking ways that I find myself encountering Christ with real delight.

As you enjoy each of the readings, would you please pray for the work of Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary? If you were to ask my where I find signs up hope in the face of this increasingly decadent culture, I would point you to the renewal of God’s Spirit that is currently happening at Gordon-Conwell. It’s not surprising, for it is here that another generation of Gospel preachers and teachers are being formed. May this work continue with great power and effectiveness.
