Mayflower Compact

mayflower-compact.jpg

The Mayflower Compact was the first governing document of Plymouth Colony drafted by the Pilgrims who crossed the Atlantic aboard the Mayflower. Le Cirque is a famed French restaurant in Manhattan where major book deals by best-selling authors are announced. Panera Bread in Wheaton is a simple place known for “fast casual” dining. What do these places have in common?

They are loosely connected, as the above photo shows. Today at 2:45pm, my agent, Alan Youngren, handed me a book contract to sign with his favorite pen. Rupert Murdoch wasn’t there; nor were there any pilgrims. But having worked toward this day for the last year, it was every bit as special!

Thanks again to all of you who have joined us in prayer.

To God be the glory!

Chris
