Purgatory: An Evangelical Doctrine?

Many of you have come to appreciate Credo Magazine. Credo is a free, full-color, digital magazine that is published quarterly and includes articles by pastors and scholars, interviews, and reviews of recent books in Christian theology and literature. Matthew Barrett, Executive Editor, has given me the privilege of contributing two pieces to the latest edition: a feature article titled “Purgatory’s Logic, History and Meaning,” and a review of Christian Smith’s book in which he gives 95 reasons why he converted from evangelical Protestantism to Catholicism. You may access the magazine by clicking on the following picture.
