Golden leaves, apple cider, and pumpkin pie—recognizable signs that we are transitioning into autumn. The Castaldo family is also facing the prospect of another kind of transition—a return to pastoral ministry. After several months of conversation with New Covenant Church in Naperville, I am now in the final phase of candidating. We will meet with several segments of the church before I preach on Sunday, followed by a congregational vote.

We are deeply grateful for the warm reception we have received from the New Covenant church family. Furthermore, I can’t adequately express my gratitude for the kindness that the Billy Graham Center has shown me during this period of discernment. As we approach these final days of candidating, would you please join us in prayer, asking God to provide insight into his will? Thanks.
