New Covenant Church in Naperville

Castaldo.fam

Shortly after preaching at New Covenant Church (NCC) this morning, a sermon titled "Life in the Face of Death," we received news of their unanimous decision to extend a call for me to serve as their senior pastor. Angela and I are full of gratitude and overwhelmed by the outpouring of love we have received from the congregation. Thanks for your prayers, words of encouragement, and also for our College Church friends who came down to Naperville this morning to express their support.

I want to take this opportunity to also thank my predecessor at NCC and my good Buddy, Douglas O’Donnell (who is now in Australia teaching and working on his PhD). I am the grateful recipient of a position that grows out of your tireless effort at planting NCC and then serving the merger with Naperville Congregational. To stand on your shoulders, my friend, is a privilege that I joyfully embrace on account of my admiration and love for you.
