My New Aphorism

North End Lunch

During seminary it was popular to visit the Black Cow Tap and Grill and quote Martin Luther who said, “You can’t adequately discuss theology unless it’s over a pint of brew.” After today’s visit to Boston’s Little Italy with the guys of Christ the King, I have my own aphorism: “Theology is best when discussed over calamari.”

This restaurant had two particular novelties—seating was literally in the kitchen and they served meals in the frying pan (below). Who needs plates!

Praise God for brothers to discuss theology with and seafood linguini over which to discuss it!
